First Day of Summer School, Father's Day, Sporting KC and More!

First day of summer school.  Karlee HAD to have the "Elsa braid" for her first day back!
Korinne has made the move to the "big girl" bed.  So, they had to do story time in her bed.
Again with the Elsa braid - it is a necessity after every bath .... and most other times of the day, too!

These kids love Pa's truck!
Cool sun "rains" (as Kohen calls them)
Baby girl, getting SO big!
Date Night - Dinner and a movie.  Applebee's has really stepped up their game - they let you order appetizers and drinks right from an electronic pad on your table.  You can call the waitress and pay for your bill right there too.  They even calculate the tip so you don't have to do the math!
Always trying to pull that ponytail out!
Karlee has a friend that she has been going to school with since she was 2.  She is moving to Minnesota but the good thing is, where they are moving is on our way to where we make our annual trip.  There are already plans in the works to make visits!  They had a little going away party for her over the weekend.
Father's day weekend was a packed weekend for us.  This girl was beat!
Apparently, so were these two!
Happy Father's Day!
She loves the water!

Jumpy, jump, jump, jump, jump; Jumpy, jump, jump, jump, jump, JUMP.  Most of you probably don't know but that goes to the tune of one of Korinne's favorite Gabba songs.  It is very fitting for the amount of jumping we did that day!
All that jumping and swimming will wear a girl out, though!

Surfin USA
Sometimes you just have to throw a fit .... even when you are swimming!
Cookie cake for Father's Day

Taking a little break
The picture doesn't really show but she was dancing up a storm!

 Volleyball time!

Karaoke - We met up with a few families of Karlee's friends for Karaoke night.  The kids all went up and sang "Let It Go" from Frozen.  They did a great job and had a blast!
Ready for the Sporting KC game.  We went to meet up with the Henry Wurst crew and Kohen got to go along. Boy, was he excited!
He was a little concerned because when we first arrived there weren't many people there.  He also wondered how he would decide who to cheer for since it was KC vs. Minnesota and really likes Minnesota.  He finally decided to cheer for KC.
Instead of foam fingers they sell foam Red Card/Yellow Cards.  He had a lot of fun waving his red/yellow cards!
A great time was had - Thanks, Henry Wurst!
