Run For the Kids 10 K, Jet Minons football, the Carnival and so much MoRe!

Dad and I ran the Run for the Kids 10K yesterday morning.  I came in 1st female overall and 5th person overall.  Dad came in 1st in his age group and 8th overall.  It was a smaller race but it was still a nice self-esteem boost!

Great swag bag that they handed out!

The Jet Minons at their finest!  2nd game down!

Karlee and Korinne had to get a little action in too!

Mark is assistant coaching this year.  Monkey see, monkey do! I guess a nicer way to say it would've been, like father, like son.
Karlee has the sharing bag and is the helper on Monday in Pre-K.  With that duty you get to have Mr. Monkey over the weekend.  You have to document your adventures with him over the weekend and report back on Monday. These were just a few things Mr. Monkey got to do - He watched a movie with the girls, ate pizza, rode rides at the carnival and jumped on the couch with two other "monkeys"! Korinne really liked Mr. Monkey!
I took Karlee out to the carnival on Saturday.  She had a great time.  Kohen opted out and Korinne was sleeping so she got left out by default!
Excited to go to the rodeo with Pa.  The girls hit up the rodeo and it sounds like they had a great time!
Korinne beat me up!  She accidentally jumped up and her very hard head busted my lip. Thankfully she didn't seem to feel it at all.  I really thought I was going to lose a tooth.  The first pic is the night of the incident.  The second is the next morning.  Thankfully it has gone down now but it sure did hurt.  I had no words it hurt so bad!

Missouri game, Kohen's first football game and More

Celebration for Carrie's birthday.  Bethany, Carrie, me and Tracy
Melissa and Keith came into town for the MU vs. UCF game.  We had to take a pit stop to recreate the basketball picture I had found the day before.
The crew - the UCF fans had us outnumbered 4 to 6 (yes, Melissa has been converted).  But they came in to see Missouri dominate.  Sorry to our Floridian friends!

We headed to the bar to watch more football after the Missouri game.  Just a few pics from our time at Johnny's. Keith and Mark were acting as if they were taking a pic of Melissa and me but to our surprise they were taking "selfies".
Dad ran the Jesse James 10k Saturday morning.  He got 1st in his age group and 10th overall.  Great job!  This is a picture of him and his friends from the fitness center.

Kohen had his first flag football game of the season on Saturday.  We missed it because of the Mizzou game but heard he did a great job!
Karlee sporting the glasses we got her from Johnny's the night before.

Red Friday, Birthday Party & MORE!

Rainy Day
I went to the garage to put the girls in the car for school and couldn't find Korinne.  She was sitting in the stroller very quietly!

RED FRIDAY

 GO CHIEFS!

Resting up for the day ahead.  We had a birthday party and a BBQ on the schedule.  Getting some much needed rest!
Corbin and Palmer's birthday party.  The kids had a blast!

Happy Birthday, Corbin and Palmer!

Exploring in the night at Michael's.  The bigs kids had flashlights.  She was the lucky one with a "big" light
Rally Day Sunday.  The kids love the balloon launch.  Too bad Korinne slept through it this year!
Took my running buddies out for a run.  It's been a while since I have taken them with me.  They have definitely gotten heavier!
School picture day.  Karlee also had to present her "All About Me" poster yesterday.

Deanna Rose Farm and other Labor Day Weekend Activities

We made a stop at Union Station, a favorite stop for our kids.  The pirates have moved out and King Tut has moved in.

We hit up a park in Parkville after the Union Station.  They had a tire swing, which was a big hit!

It was extremely hot this day and Karlee said shortly after snapping this that she just couldn't pose because she was just too hot.  That is a first because she loves to pose.
Pushing his sister on the swing

They insisted I take a picture of the train.  We have some train lovers in the family
Worn out!
We went to Deanna Rose Farm yesterday.  The kids had a blast!

Milking the cow

I was so proud of Kohen for going in and feeding the goat. I would have guessed he would be too scared to do this.  This is usually Karlee's forte!
I think Karlee pet every goat on the farm.  She really wanted to pet the pigs and drink out of their water trough.  I told her that was definitely not going to happen.

Feeding the ducks.  Not sure what was going on here ... one of those ducks must have made her mad!

After the farm we headed to Michael's for a BBQ.  The kids had fun running around with their cousins, playing hide and seek.

This girl loves a good salad - salad of any kind .... this time it was taco salad.  She really liked this but she needed more "sauce".  Yummy!

She liked it so much she ate it three days later.  I have to imagine it was pretty soggy but she liked it!

Yo Gabba Gabba, Yo Gabba Gabba, Yo Gabba Gabba, Yooooooo! (you would have to know the song at the beginning of the show to understand that).
