I know I have been posting non-stop lately so I hope I am not boring anyone with my pics ...

These are just a few more pics of Kohen sitting ... I know they probably don't look much different than the ones from a couple days ago but in terms of the length of time he is sitting they are. We build a wall of pillows around him just in case he decides to go over but I am amazed that just within 1-2 days he went from sitting for short spurts to sitting for really long lengths of time with no assistance. I suppose that is the way it happens with all babies but things just change so quickly and so drastically from one day to the next. It is true what "they" say, every day really is a new adventure!!

Bath Time!

He would rather chew on the hook than catch fish with it!He decided it was much easier to catch the fish if he just picks them up rather than "hooking" them.

Here are a couple videos ...

Kohen has been trying to drink out of a sippy cup and occasionally trying a "real" cup. He really enjoys the real cup much better but it is not quite as "clean" as the sippy cup so we practice over the sink. When you hear me say, "Sorry, Mark" on the video it is because the milk spilled all over his legs before I could catch it.

The second video is just of him sitting & playing ... and then eventually toppling over.

Sitting

Kohen is sitting on his own a little bit now. He can't do it for a long period of time but he is making progress with short spurts of sitting by himself.

The first pic is just a picture of Kohen playing but the other two are of his new Mizzou gear.

Kohen went to his six month check up yesterday and he is now weighing in at 18 lbs. 10 1/2 oz. He loves his Chiefs football, as you can see below. At least someone is happy with Chiefs football this year!! He has started scooting a little bit on his forearms. It is not really a crawl but he puts his forearms over the football and pulls his body forward. I guess it won't be long before he is crawling around!!

Go Big Red! My mom, dad and brother came over for the game last night and Kohen got all dressed up to root on the Huskers!

Uncle Ben brought over some glow-in-the-dark skeleton pajamas for Kohen. He has his own built in night light now!!
