Finally getting caught up .... for now!

We took the kids to see Santa a couple weeks ago at Bass Pro.  They loved Santa, as usual.

My dad and I took the kids to Union Station over the Thanksgiving break from school.  They love Union Station and everything in it; Science City, the train exhibits, the restaurants, etc.!

Korinne wanted me to draw her, me and her "Minnie" during lunch. This was the result.

We took some family pictures, way back in October! I am just getting around to putting some of them on here.  It was one of the coldest days, which is ironic because it was so nice every other day/weekend.

Karlee's friendship feast at school.

I had a pretty cruddy day one day last week.  I happened to run into my friend's husband during some of this ... she showed up on my doorstep a few hours later with this.  What a nice surprise and definitely brightened my day a bit!

She walked downstairs one evening and looked like this.

To explain some of these; Kohen and Karlee had dress for what you want to be when you grow up at school. Kohen wants to be an artist and Karlee wants to be a baker.  On the bottom portion; the second grade made artifacts in maker space at school and families were invited into their museum to learn about their artifacts.

A little misc and decorating for Christmas, Thanksgiving, etc. On the top left; Karlee said she was pretending to be the Elf on the Shelf.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Mark's cousin has a party every year and they have Santa and Mrs. Claus come and have each kid sit on their lap (it's a lot of kids).  We have never been able to go in the past.  We were free this year and the kids loved it.  They were so excited when they saw them at the door .... Korinne was upset that we wouldn't let her leave and go home with them when they left!

Celebrating Kathy's birthday. Above; Tenley, Abbie, me, Sarah Spangler, Kathy and Stacey.  We surprised Kathy at the Embassy Suites and took her to dinner at Chuy's and then went out for a few drinks. She was very surprised!

The 2md grade music performance.  Kohen had a solo.  He was pretty nervous but he got up there and nailed it!  We were very proud of him!!

Ann, Susan and Roxy came down for Ben's annual limo lights tour. The ladies hit up First Fridays down in the West Bottoms and went to lunch at the Beer Kitchen before we had the limo light tour.  Ann and mom even got to sit on Santa's lap.

The limo light tour.  It never disappoints!
