12 Bars (divided by 2), Kids Christmas Program, The Wurst Christmas Party Ever, Black Eyes and Broken Heads!

So, last Monday Korinne took a dive off the kitchen chair (more than likely from dancing, shaking her bottom and giving her bottom the occasional smack.  That is her signature move, after all).  She hit the chair and gave herself one heck of a black eye.  It has progressed through most of the colors.  It is currently black underneath as well.  I think it will fade just in time for Christmas!
Just 4 short days after Korinne's eye, poor little Karlee got the brunt of a giant lollipop to the noggin.  As you can see by the graphic top right pic, we thought it was much worse than it turned out to be.  We were not too worried until she said she felt blood dripping in her forehead and there was clearly nothing near or on her forehead. So, I took her to the Urgent Care and she checked out just fine.  I was really hoping this would, at the very least, teach a lesson not to take our sister's stuff and then in return the younger sister should not then whack the older sister violently over the head with a giant lollipop. Unfortunately, I have broken up way too many fights since Friday to think this taught any lessons.

The Annual 12 Bars of Christmas.  Although, this year it was divided by 2 and was only the 6 bars of Christmas. The top right pic is of Mark and what a lot of people that evening deemed to be his twin.  His twin, Eric, plans to be at family Christmas and is apparently bringing the mashed potatoes.

Fun times at Breakfast at Bethlehem after play practice on Saturday morning.

The Christmas program at church. This year we had a star, a sheep and a shepherd.

The Henry Wurst Christmas party.  They named the event, "The Wurst Christmas Party Ever".  There were so many things for the kids to do; bounce houses, sand art, coloring, bracelet and necklace making with beads and they also got to see Santa and Mrs. Claus.  There were over 500 people in attendance ... it was a great party!

Mark was one of the people selected for the Rising Star award.

Michael (Mark's brother) won supervisor of the year.  If you ask me, that should be all credit to his wonderful manager (that would be Mark, of course!).  Paula, Michael's wife, also received a Rising Star award.

After the awards ceremony, Santa and Mrs. Claus came out and read 'The Night Before Christmas' to all of the kids.  Then, they handed out gifts to each and every child.  Apparently, there were 150 kids 12 and under at the party. Needless to say, it took a long time to hand out those gifts - somehow our three were in the very last bag! But they waited ever so patiently.  I was very proud of them for their patience!
