I have started using this blog as a "yearbook" of sorts, so I apologize for the multitude of pics that might seem like unnecessary overload to anyone but me (and maybe my family) I found a site that I can either download or print my blog as a book. I plan to print each year and store them in binders as our family yearbook. So, bear with me through all the pics! Here they come, in no particular order!
| Mother's Day gift for Grammie. |
| The last day of school for the girls was on May 9th. Korinne has now started to copy all of Karlee's poses. Also, had to stop for a little ice cream after the last day! |
| Karlee's last day of preschool was last Thursday. She will miss seeing Ms. Mary and Ms. Corrine every Tuesday and Thursday. |
| First t-ball game of the season - The Nationals - Kohen has improved so much since last year. |
| Korinne and Karlee dancing with the high school cheerleaders at Kohen's family fun night at school. |
| I had to go in for a stress test due to an irregular heartbeat and an abnormal EKG. I haven't really received a diagnosis, per say, but the cardiologist said he believes everything is okay and he gave me the green-light to continue activity as normal and gave me his blessing on the 1/2 marathon that I ran a couple weeks ago. I go back on the 13th of June for a full stress test with echo but he said he is 99.9% sure we will not find a thing. |
| Because of my experience, Kohen was given a written order by the doctor to get an EKG as well. His was completely normal, thank goodness! He was pretty excited to get a Wonder Woman sticker at the end. She is his favorite super hero, after all! |
The series of pics above is just a testament to the weeks we have had recently. Everyone is beat up! Wait, I don't see Karlee in any of these "beat up" pics! I believe she is the culprit! Well, I can't give her credit for Kohen's nose. He woke up like that one morning. He had no idea how it happened. Korinne, on the other hand, was quite literally beat up by her sister! She's going to be a tough little cookie!
| Karlee saw this cloud and loved it. She wanted to go sit on it and thought maybe the whole world could fit on it. What I wouldn't give to have the simplicity and innocence of a 4-year-old again! |
| These two really do love each other - even if Karlee beats her up now and then! |
| Rainbow picnic day at preschool |
The kids had a pizza party, picnic-style in the living room.
| Our bird babies - they grew so fast! The were very quickly running out of room in their nest and now they have all left us! We just have an empty nest. The kids really grew attached. Kohen was very concerned about them in the storm and they always went out to check on them. The last pic is of Korinne climbing up the swing set to go check on the "teets" ... I'm guessing she means tweet and that must mean birds?! Who knows! |
| She loves to climb on anything she can |
| Karlee loves riding her bike. She will ride for hours! I am hoping she gets brave enough to take the training wheels off soon! She's not sure about that yet! |
| We had some pretty good sized hail on Saturday night. |
| Celebrating our anniversary - 7 years! |
| "Helping" me get ready |
| I just love this picture. It just shows the extremes we have going on at all times. Sleepy, peaceful Korinne and then Karlee in the background as dramatic as can be! The drama clearly isn't phasing Korinne. |
| Finally, it is pool time! |
| Happy Mother's Day to me! |
| My Mother's Day cutie |
| Karlee on her first day of school and her last day of preschool |
