Kohen

Here are a few pictures of Kohen, as you can see he has two black eyes ... he looks a little like he has been in a fight. For those of you who don't know, he is out of the oxygen tent. After they took him out of the tent they placed a nasal cannula in his nose. He has been off of that since Monday. He is now breathing room air completely on his own!!! His hemoglobin levels are a little low but they think they will come up on their own. He will have his CBC (complete blood count) tested again on Monday to make sure the level is coming up. If you are wondering what the tubes are in the pictures above; the one in his nose is a feeding tube and there are two IV's placed in his head.

We thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers. He has made an extreme amount of progress in such a short amount of time. We are so thankful every day to have him and to watch him progress with every new day. Hopefully he will be coming home with us soon.
