I am playing a little catch up (yet again) on some pictures from the last month or so. They are in no particular order
FLORIDA - Beth, Brooke and I went to see Melissa in FL. Due to her work, we were able to get tickets to the Clearwater Uncorcked event and were even invited to the VIP event on Friday night. Pictured above: the Friday VIP night event.
We stayed with Melissa in Orlando the first night we got in. I went for a run Friday morning before we headed out for Clearwater and these are a couple pictures from the trail I was on.
We saw SO many shells on the beach. Most of the really good ones still had living beings living inside of them. There was lot of starfish too and they were all still alive, as well.

| Upper left: Beth giving an interview at the Clearwater Uncorcked event. Upper right: the stuff that was in our swag bag from the VIP event. Middle - the cake is from the event on Saturday at one of the booths. The tree is from the VIP event ... the cheese and strawberries were tooth picked into the tree. The bag is what all of our VIP swag was in. The bottom row: the pool that the VIP event was held at. The glow sticks were for the kids but I accidentally activated all of them and they had to be left behind. They probably never would have made it home without being activated anyway! |
| There was a local DJ at the event that we asked to take our picture. It turned into a full blown photo shoot .... he had us doing all kinds of poses. It was SO cold, rainy, and windy on Saturday. I was literally shaking the entire day. I did not pack appropriately! |

| I didn't realize when putting this collage together but a couple of these are repeat pics .... |
| Bottom right - Brooke is trying out the breathalyzer machine at the restaurant. Much to our dismay, it didn't work. |
| The top pic is Melissa's backyard the night we arrived. The middle is the hotel in Clearwater. The bottom, is Melissa's backyard the next morning and then me before leaving for FL. |
| The photographer kept telling us to say "so good", which is why Melissa looks the way she does :) |
| Dad's birthday. He turned 67 in January and we celebrated at Texas Roadhouse. Karlee really wanted to ride the saddle. We told them we had a birthday and they let everyone try it out. |
| Valentine's parties at school |
| We took the kids to a Valentine's dance. It was Disney themed, so they had to dress in their favorite Disney outfit. They had a blast dancing the night away! Kohen had a great time bidding on many of the silent auctions, as well. Unfortunately (or fortunately for us), he didn't win anything! |
| I delivered 2 dozen bacon roses to Mark at work. The bacon was a hit! We had to go out with his co-workers the Sat before Valentine's day, so we ordered his mom and dad a heart shaped pizza. The bottom right shows how it was delivered. |
| Korinne's Valentine's part at school |
Ben stayed with us a couple weeks ago and we took Korinne to the aquarium. She had a lot of fun looking at all the fish. She loved getting her stamps at each of the stamping locations.
| We went out for my friend Amy's birthday and we ran into the Marlin's Man. He was kind enough to take a picture with Stacey, Carrie and me. The others were too scared to come with us :) |
| Karlee's 100 days of school project. You can't see it very well in this pic, but the kids in the school windows are blowing giant bubbles with their gum, which adds to the "blown by" |
| Basketball fun |
| Korinne's last night of Bitty Basketball. She really got in there and played hard that last week, which was an improvement from the previous weeks when she was extremely shy! |
| Her team pic. They said line up for a picture and she immediately put her hand on her cocked out hip .... always the poser! |
| A few repeats pics in here, too ... sorry for the redundancy! |
| I woke Korinne up for school one morning and this was the progression of her waking up .... and then going back to sleep! |
| Sleepy girl! |
| About a month ago, Karlee lost two teeth within two days of each other. The first request was for red jelly beans. The note states, Dear The Tooth Fairy, When my tooth falls out I want red jelly beans. I wasn't able to find only red jelly beans at the hour that this took place, only a giant bag of mixed jelly beans. So, I had to pick out all the reds. |
| Amy's birthday, Mandy's birthday and my red hair. I had several shades of hair that week. It went from blonde to slightly orange, to really orange, to dark brown, to red. Little can you tell from the picture, but it is many shades. Red in the front, dark brown in places, blonde underneath .... just a mix. That should teach me from doing my own hair. Although, I had been doing so well for about a year! |
| Kohen's favorite game - Pie Face |
| My running partner had a really tough run! She was worn out! |
We had to go to Nebraksa for Kelsey's wedding shower. Kohen and Karlee had basketball games on Saturday, so we left the others behind and headed up there on Friday to make a stop at the zoo. Korinne loved the animals, especially the lions, tigers, monkeys and gorillas. We got a pretty good show from the monkeys. They "talked" a lot and very loudly for a long time.
| Hotel fun! |
Nothing like jumping on a bed ... or to and from two beds.
| Korinne, me and Kelsey Roberts (Meyer). Korinne has been pretty obsessed with Barbie and the Dream House lately and Barbie's last name is Roberts. She has a sister named Chelsea, which sounds a lot like Kelsey, so Korinne dubbed her Kelsey Roberts. |
The girls had a blast playing at the shower and blowing bubbles!
| These are some pictures of Kohen's class that his teacher sent. |
