Our summer keeps chugging along ... faster than a freight train!

We celebrated Ashton and Gavin's birthday's at Jeff and Jenifer's last Friday night.  The kids had a blast throwing water balloons and hitting the pinata.

Terrieck, Sam and Kohen
Kohen had another party to go to on Friday night.  His friend, Sam, had a party at Power Play.  He had a blast!
We had just arrived in the gates.  We went to take a pic down close to where they were doing batting practice.  Korinne was way too interested in that to want anything to do with pictures.  I am mid laugh because Mark is trying to trick her into looking ... unsuccessfully!
We went to the Royals game last Saturday.  Our babysitter fell through so mom stayed with Kohen and Karlee and it was Korinne's turn to enjoy the game.  She spent most of her time at the playground, which meant I spent most of my time at the playground, as well.
The tailgate crew - Korinne slept through the whole tailgating process, which worked out well because it was SO hot that day!

She finally looked .... after being tricked about a hundred times!

This was her choice at the gift shop .... until she saw a Royals bear blankie that she decided was a better buy than the Eric Hosmer mask.

We ran into the "moose guy" on our way out of the stadium.  He really liked Korinne!   We somehow made it to the 8th inning, which was shocking for as hot as it was that day.  I thought she would want to leave immediately.  If she had her way, we would still be playing at that playground!
We saw this vehicle in the parking lot on the way out.  Picture of the bbq sauce we were given by some girls promoting Rufus Teague while we were tailgating. On the bottom right, circled - Ben, Mark and dad.

Ben, Mark and Dad made the TV - Korinne and I were at the park most of the time so she cost me my TV debut! Ha!
Father's Day
We went to brunch at Granite City

The kids decorated an angle food cake. LOTS and LOTS of icing!

On the far right - checking out how high the creek is ... it was flowing pretty good!

We went swimming with Landon and Kim on Tuesday.  Korinne, of course, decided winter boots were appropriate attire for the pool.
Pool Time!
Hanging by the pool

Toby and Mike came down on their way through to Myrtle Beach.  Kohen got to have a sleepover with Toby (whom he refers to as his BFF :)).  The kids swam and had a great time!

The big flag at Union Station

Korinne and I spent the day at Union Station/Science City on Wednesday.  She had a great time!

She wanted to crawl under and stand right next to the football player.  Luckily, I caught her in time!

I found her climbing the cabinets because she said her tummy hurt and she needed tummy medicine.

I had an EMG and MRI done on my left leg due to the water feeling I have running through it.  Everything came back normal.  I guess it will remain a mystery! It doesn't bother me so it is not a big deal as long as it isn't something serious.  So far, the ortho and neuro guys don't seem to think it is anything to be concerned about and think it will go away eventually.  It comes and goes and started around my Achilles injury so they think it is related to that.

Korinne wore a stocking cap on the hottest day of the year.  In the middle - she needed a bowl because she thought she was going to "frowd up".  On the far right in the middle she is at Aunt Kim's watering flowers.
