A WHOLE LOT of picture catchup - Easter, Spring Break, Field Trips, Royals Home Opener and much, much MORE!

We went to the Easter Eggstravaganza at church the day before Easter.  The kids had a great time hunting for eggs, eating pancakes, doing crafts, face painting, etc.

Easter - before church.  We opted for the sunrise service to avoid the crowd.  Surprisingly, it was still pretty full.
The sunrise, right before going into the sunrise service.

After church

My little bunny rabbits

We went to grammie and pa's and had Easter dinner and an egg hunt

Pulling up the old tree back by the pool

She found another egg! Pure joy!

Kohen played washers for a long time.  He really liked it and wasn't half bad. This is the look of determination.

They also played croquet

We went to Deanna Rose Farm over Spring Break.  The kids had a great time!

Mark and I went to the home opener with some friends.  We had a great time and they came out with a win!  7-0 to date - Go Royals!

Karlee's class went on a field trip to Shatto Dairy Farm.  It was a great tour and she loved tasting the milk and cheese.  Her favorites were, cotton candy and banana milk.

Korinne started Itty Bitty soccer last week.  It just happened to be terribly cold and windy that day.  Horrible conditions!  She really liked it.  Although, I don't know how much soccer she actually played.  Mostly, she ran around the fields as fast as she could saying, "Come and get me!"

Lauren, Brooke, Melissa and me
My friend, Melissa, came in from Florida over the weekend and we celebrated her birthday.
We ate at Cleaver and Cork and then headed over to Howl at the Moon.  It was great seeing her and Keith!(Top pic: left of table then right; Erin, Jenny, Mark, Shelton, Keith, Mandy, Brooke, Ryan, Jonathan, Mark, Beth, me (and Briggs (can't see him), Jeff, Tracy, Melissa, Kristen and Ashley.

I was supposed to run the Rock the Parkway 1/2 marathon with Melissa and Keith.  Keith got hurt early on in the training and I got hurt right at the end of my training.  Melissa was left on her own.  I was pretty upset I couldn't run it but I suppose I shouldn't complain.  In 12 years of running religiously, this has been my first real injury. I go to the orthopedic specialist on Thursday and will hopefully know more at that point.

I tried to finish out the training and do the race.  Icing, taping, bracing - in the end the dr. said absolutely not on the race.
Making calls

She loves to color all over herself!

Some special treats we took on a shopping trip for one of my friend's birthdays.  Classy chocolate strawberries - very good!

Karlee has started back to gymnastics.  She missed it very badly!  She is happy to be back!

We have new little birdie eggs again this year.

Cute, little, sleepy girl

More Spring Break fun.  Karlee and Korinne made friends with a cat at one of their friend's houses.  In the top pics; our neighbor's moved over Easter weekend and Kohen and Karlee got to spend some time with their oldest over the break.  We are sad to see them go.
