Happy Easter

Ready for church
Two silly girls cheesing for the camera
Opening baskets ... Karlee was pouting.  Not sure about what but she didn't want to open her basket with everyone else.
Still pouting ... but then eventually decided it was okay to be happy and open her basket.
I am pretty sure the wrestling match is what shook her out of her mood and made her happy again.
Kohen hunting eggs and being a bunny
Karlee hunting and perfecting her bunny hop
Korinne hunting for eggs.  She refused to put the bunny mask on.

They each got some silly string in their basket.  Korinne was not sure what to think about it but it was a hit!

Big swing!

Easter Egg Hunt, Crown Center and Liberty Memorial

She loves to shut herself in the pantry and wait for someone to find her.  Today she took the Easter baskets with her.
Face painting at the Easter Eggstravaganza at church this morning

Lots and lots of fun was had at the Eggstravaganza!
Korinne was not sure about hunting eggs at first but once she got the hang of it, she loved it!
Egg hunting, bunny hop (sack races) and egg races

We headed down to Crown Center in hopes of going to Lego Land.  We hit up the Crayola Cafe first for a bite to eat.
We headed over to Lego Land only to find out they had already closed.  What we thought would be a huge let down turned into a great night.  The kids ran around the fountains outside and loved every minute.  If you notice in the top of this picture above is Skies (the restaurant).  Kohen always sees that up there when we go downtown and "dreams" of going to eat there one day!  I think it might be closed so he may never get his wish ...

We headed over to the Liberty Memorial to catch a view of the city and to catch the sunset.

The kids could've ran around all night! Kohen didn't want to leave.  Even once the sun went down, he said, "we have to stay and watch the view".  Which really meant, we have to stay so I can keep log-rolling down these hills!
We ended the night with some good old Dairy Queen ice cream.

Easter celebrations and more!

Kohen's kindergarten class in the picture on top.  Karlee's preschool class on the bottom
Karlee had a great Easter party at school.  The Easter Bunny even made a visit ... although, the kids were not fooled. They said, "That is just Stella's dad dressed in a bunny costume!".  They had some cute cupcakes, decorated plastic eggs, played egg/spoon race and hunted for some eggs.
Silly girls
Cheesing in Kohen's bunny hat
I hosted bunco last Friday and my co-host and I did an Easter/Spring theme.  Here are a few pics ... her carrot cheese ball turned out great!
Kohen got to keep great-grandma's desk.  We decided to put it in the basement so he has somewhere quiet to work on his homework.  He is pretty excited to have this desk.  Although, he has more ideas for working on coloring books than homework, I think!

They really do love each other sometimes.  It's the other 95% of the time that might drive me to insanity!
She loves shoes of any shape, size and color ... if they are there, she is putting them on!

Kindergarten Music Performance

Kohen and his fellow kindergartners put on a great concert on Thursday night!
Batman was driving through the neighborhood last night

Kohen's kindergarten class went on a field trip to Kaleidoscope.  They had a great time!
Dance Party
My cake baking helpers.  I am pretty sure they only help so they can "test" the cake batter!

Karlee and Grammie made the pretty cookies and I made the TMNT cake for Kohen.  They were supposed to have a sleepover with their cousins to celebrate their birthday but it was canceled at the last minute.
The girls went bowling and to Fun Run instead of the sleepover and they could've jumped for hours! Korinne LOVED Fun Run!
Cousins night out
The cousin crew (minus Scott and Michelle who couldn't make it)
One of the vendors at Mark's work gave us 3 tickets to the Captain America II premiere. Kohen loved the movie!
Intently watching "Babba"
Just kicked back, chatting on the phone!

They love to jump in a big pile of laundry!
